Marketing Manager

Job Description:

  • MARKETING MANAGEMENT – Develop and lead the implementation of the marketing strategies for all managed brands under the category. This will include market development, launch, and sustainment campaigns and initiatives, and will involve:
    • Social media display / online retail channels advertising
    • Search engine marketing
    • Social network community management
    • Content development and marketing
    • Influencer marketing
    • Traditional advertising (TV, print, radio) and PR
    • Below-the-line marketing and sales initiatives (e.g. Point-of-purchase advertising, product sampling, etc.)
  • BRAND MANAGEMENT – Work closely with management committee in developing/re-orienting the brand direction of the products under the category, and how this will be implemented. Take the lead in conducting market research to guide branding and marketing.
  • SALES MANAGEMENT – Drive the marketing strategy and plans for assigned category to achieve category business objectives in offline and online channels; work closely with sales support team, and distributors/retailers in developing and implementing sales initiatives.
  • DIGITAL ASSETS MANAGEMENT – Manage the work of external service providers to optimize and revamp websites (including SEO), create landing pages, and optimize user experience; Utilize data analytics to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points. Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • PERFORMANCE MONITORING & REPORTING – Develop and implement marketing and sales reports and reporting protocols/systems for the company. Leverage data and measure success of marketing and sales initiatives (i.e. brand awareness, engagement, ROI, etc.).
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP – Structure, manage, and monitor the work of the team and outsourced service suppliers.
  • INNOVATION – provide ideas/suggestions on new products, systems, processes that can help grow and improve the category’s performance.

Requirements:

  • Holds bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other related disciplines
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns; ideal to have had experience in all key digital marketing domains (e.g. Search, PPC, SEO/SEM, content, database/email, influencer marketing, etc.)
  • Leadership experience: has successfully led digital marketing (or related) teams in the past

  • Experience in financial planning, developing and managing budgets; ideal to have had P&L responsibility
    Experience in developing customer funnels, optimizing digital user experience/landing pages, etc.

  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, HootSuite, etc.)
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis”
